“Not a very positive experience. I wonder if the 'plus' in CarpetPlus refers to how much you are being charged? Although the fitting was on time and the job was generally decent, here is what happened: a week after booking the fitting - and when it was too late to back out - the cost suddenly increased by 40%. It was put down to the actual measurements being different to the quoted ones (although when I checked carefully, the biggest difference in dimension I could find between the final measurement and the initial one was 1cm, and no explanation was forthcoming how that increased the size from 11x3.6m to 18x3.6m in my tiny 2 bedroom flat). I used CarpetPlus four years ago for a bigger house and they did a very good job for me then; I recommended them to my friends. I don't know what's changed in four years but I don't think I will want to trust them after this and I'm certainly not recommending them to anyone. But credit where it's due - they fitted the carpet on time and, although it seems to have a few lighter patches showing up like stripes (you can see that in the photo), it is at least fitted neatly.”

“Really happy with the service, range and price at Carpet Plus in Blenheim Rd Christchurch. We wanted several large pieces of carpet for rugs, and were stoked with what we were able to get. The quality and weight of similarly priced carpet at other places was definitely not up to Carpet Plus standard. When we placed the order, Dana was able to source ends for us at a cheaper price and once the carpet arrived, she even allowed me to pick it up after the storeman had gone home, and helped me load it into the car. I cannot recommend the service highly enough, and will definitely be back for any future flooring needs.”
