“Engaged their services for a gas pipe modification in my kitchen . The job was done well...but had to chase them for an invoice making about 5 calls.Spoke to the owner finally who was not at all customer friendly. 🙄After which i get an invoice which had some surprise charges like $70.00 for a gas certificate plus $45.00 to issue it . Which i think was not told to me in the start. I thought that was unreasonable to charge for a certificate that cost them nothing and then $45.00 labour to issue it. Suggest get estimates / quote from this vendor before engaging their services to avoid surpises. I would be very reluctant engage them again. Raj Welbourn New Plymouth”

“A family member had Gas & Plumbing highly recommended so called them when a tennis ball was stuck in a drain. They were told it was a really simple job and it was completed quickly and efficiently by very professional well-presented guys. When the invoice came there were a lot of hidden costs that hadn't been explained that meant this simple and quick job cost almost $300. When called to discuss some of these costs the response wasn't constructive and was ruder than expected. The people doing the work are great, but make sure you ask about all possible costs before getting the job booked. Another review on Yellow says that it cost the customer over $200 to have a tap washer replaced. More transparency on costs, and maybe even fixed pricing would make this a great company.”
