“I used Hickey Contractors to do the prep work for a driveway of 440 square meters in the 2nd half of 2019. They prepared the surface, sourced all the materials, sorted and put in extra drainage and liaised with the contractors that were laying a hot mix top coat. Our relationship from the initial site inspection thru to when the work was completed was probably a total of 15 weeks. Every interaction I had with both management and the laboring staff was excellent. The guys were on time, always professional, nothing was ever too hard and they dealt with my endless questions ( some would say interference) with good humour and knowledgeable explanations. They stored their tools on site and when they left on the final day they swept out the garage and gave the bathroom a very good "contractors clean". When the landscaper was unable to lay a timber edging around the driveway they stepped in and did an excellent job and at a much better price. They are clearly very experienced and the finished product was fabulous. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hickey Contractors for any sort of earthworks, or drainage type work. Our edging job showed me that they were willing to take on work outside of their normal scope to help out their client. I look forward to using them again on our next project.”
