“I was disappointed by Isaac’s communication. Isaac’s was hired as a subcontractor by my HVAC contractor to run electrical to a heat pump. The HVAC contractor estimated an electrical fee of $650+gst. An Isaac’s electrician arrived when scheduled. They were friendly and professional. We live in a small/standard villa; our attic entry access is narrow, which I can fit through, but the electrician could not fit. This resulted in thoughtful downtime and the need to call an apprentice to the site. Overall, I believe the work was fairly straight-forward, which was completed throughout the day. At the end, I looked over the work, which I believe to have been completed professionally and to a high-quality. No change to the contractor’s estimate was discussed before, during or after the work. After a few weeks, we received an invoice of $1941. I contacted Isaac’s twice, including once in person. They believed the fee was reasonable, but both times told me they would consult on the matter and get back in touch. I never received follow-up, but I did receive unpaid/late notices. Inevitably, I paid the bill, but I remain quite bothered by the discrepancy. I don’t know if the fault lies with the contractor’s estimate or the subcontractor’s billing, but there was no transparency or accountability related to the unexpected overcharge. As I said, the work was done professionally, but I was wholly disappointed by the communication. We’re fortunate enough to be able to pay, but for another family, I imagine the substantial change could have significant financial consequences. Isaac's did not appear concerned about this possibility.”

“These guys are great. I had a hot water cylinder that was leaking from our second story house through a ceiling onto the floor of a room underneath. I rang several "urgent" plumbers but none could attend promptly. I then rung Issac's, they were at our property within an hour and did a great job at a reasonable cost. I will use this firm again if the need arises. Highly recommend.”

Which I believe a tradesman would have done in 4-6 hours No tradesman ever came on site, so the apprentice had to sit around waiting for advice from mobile phone pics he sent back and forth They also took away my old pump (the capacitor had blown up) and RCD switches, the switches were unnecessarily removed and then replaced”
