“Disappointed by the misleading representation of prices here. I was told topsoil was $82 per cubic meter and that getting the bags was 'exactly the same price' as filling myself. Based on this I purchased $100 of bagged topsoil but when it didnt even fill 1/3 of our vege garden I then calculated that the bags in fact worked out at $500 per cubic meter. While I should have realised this sooner I was relying on the service providers assurance that it was exactly the same price. Be careful and seek quoted prices in writing for exactly what you want (bags, self- filling tubs and trailer fills all vary) and don't rely on verbal assurances.”

“I got a trailer load of compost and top soil for $160 to use in my glasshouse and outdoor garden. Within just TWO weeks the weeds are coming up thick and fast, making it almost impossible to work with. It looks like I threw a whole lot of grass seed over the dirt. I rang to discuss and was told the top soil is only screened once. It does not say this on the website.I requested the cost of the top soil to be refunded under the Consumer Guarantee Act because it is not "acceptable quality" but was told that wouldn't happen. Overall I am very unimpressed. If you want to grow weeds instead of veges, this is the stuff for you!”

“We ordered 2 cubic metres of mulch for my mum and when it arrived it was full of rubbish, bits of wood, glass and plastic. Not what was expected to put around the garden. We have a dog so glass in your mulch is not ok.”
