“Please be very wary using this company and very rude salespeople, got them to replace all the screws in 2020 just found out after issue they only replaced 6 screws and charged us 200 screws. I emailed them never heard a thing and the sales guy there refused to do a quote when we started having issues with our roof. Please be very careful”

“The CEO of Mt. Maunganui Roofing, Tim, is a brilliant guy to work with. Straight-up and helpful when working through the various issues. The job was for a new roof of commercial premises and the tenant only wanted to be closed down for a minimum number of hours. The new roof was put on in half a day and the final invoice was less than the quoted amount. Thank you Tim and your team. You can be assured I'll be putting more work your way.”

“Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Had a leak in our roof and Mount Maunganui Roofing had someone on the job within a couple of hours and job done!! Another roofing company said they could have a look in a week! From the lady in the office to the worker who did the job, they were all very professional. They are definitely on top for me!!”

“Upside: overall, a professional approach, very good on contact and updating. The actual roofing team were excellent and very strongly focussed on doing the best possible job. The job took four weeks rather than the estimated two, mostly because of weather, but they worked pretty consistently. It was a difficult job and the extra time was no surprise. Office and management staff were excellent to deal with. We are very happy with the end result. Downside: they forgot to include one tiny roof in the quote. The roofers left the job without doing that roof (despite it being discussed several times) and weeks later it still has not been done despite promises that it would be. When they first showed up on site to begin work, they said a builder would be needed for certain aspects of the job - but they had made no contingency for that builder and had none available. Nor was the builder included in the quote (unknown to us); we had no forewarning of this requirement. NoSide: replacing a roof is an opportunity to give detailed attention to upgrading (and in many cases painting) roof-associated guttering, insulation and wooden components (barge boards etc). That is especially true if scaffolding is needed because access is so much easier. But that work takes a lot of time, and the roofers do not do it. In our case, the owner worked full-time (up to 12 hours a day) alongside the roofers doing those jobs and also doing the work that the "builder" might have done. We recommend having a full-time handyperson available to work alongside the roofers to do the many small jobs that come up as they expose roof infrastructure. Otherwise, they will simply cover those problems up again. We especially thank the roofing team for their tolerance of that additional upgrading work and our new roof is much the better for it being done at the same time.”
