“I was having one of those once-in-a-lifetime days when every small problem seemed to hit me one after another. I managed to deal with most of them, but each one cost me money and nerves. The final straw was a dead battery, with the terminal completely turned into blue copper corrosion. It was a classic Friday evening situation - last customer walking into the shop five minutes before closing, stressed, panicking, and clearly not in a great state. A senior staff member (I believe his name was Keith) took a quiet look at me and the problem, calmly finished what he was doing, and accepted the job without hesitation. There were a few complications that many other shops would have used as an excuse to upsell parts, massively overcharge, or simply refuse the job altogether. Instead, Keith handled it quickly, kept up friendly conversation, and charged a very reasonable price. This is a true example of old-school values with modern-day customer service and fair pricing.
