“We engaged Ultrascape Landscaping to do our hard landscaping at Lake Tarawera . Our site was challenging because of its steepness and for water management . They did decking, drainage, retaining walls, fencing, swales , rock landscaping , concrete preparation, edging with corten steel, levelling lawns, digger work, shed building and supplied materials such as soil, mulch and stone to site. Alan and the team were professional , skillful, flexible , accommodating and solution focussed . They worked with us when we wanted to do aspects ourselves, such as planting . “Alan and Leanne from Ultrascape Landscaping were absolutely wonderful to deal with throughout the time they and their team were working on our property. From the initial meeting and planning phase we could not have wished for better communication and service. Alan listened to the personal ideas we had, but also suggested numerous other interesting ideas and concepts that were included in the plan and they certainly enhanced our project. We were completing a new build on farmland and wanted a completed landscaping package. Alan and his team provided this. They were onsite for several months, initially working around builders and subcontractors and then the weather with ease. Nothing was a problem. From the quoting process to completing the work, Alan was very responsive, experienced, efficient and thinking for you, plus going for the extra mile to deliver high quality results! They helped replace a failing retaining wall close to the house with a robust and beautifully built new one, as well as replace the old concrete paving with nicely laid concrete pathway. The freshly laid concrete unfortunately got a neighbourhood cat’s footprints at first and Alan fixed it before we asked by reworking on the affected area after hours even in the dark!
