“I can not recommend Whitehead for plumbing work. I had a blocked drain which was investigated promptly but communication was poor to non existent. Even then issue was not resolved. First someone from Whitehead attended and the next day a subcontractor. The subcontractor advised that he suspected that the drain had a blockage that needed to be investigated and that he would advise Whitehead. So I waited for a call but nothing. Eventually I called and asked if any further work was required - all I recieved was a bill,. which I have paid. Another company has resolved the issue as I was not prepared to deal with Whitehead due to their poor communication and lack of follow-up. EDIT 16/10/2025 : I have had a call from Paul @ Whitehead who has explained the the cause of the poor of communication and poor follow up. It appears information was not passed on the Whitehead regarding additional work being required. I have accepted the explanation and that the problem was in part outside Whitehead's control. I have therefore revised my review to 3 stars. The work done was done quickly - let down by communication.”
